Wedding website and invites for Hannah and Matthias' wedding

I wanted to create a crossover of traditional and slightly quirky as the wedding ‘vibe’. The venue was a traditional English country house in Devon with a mix of English and German guests. I wanted to keep everything pretty simple as it seems there is a temptation to go hell for leather when creating wedding invites. I used embossing, a pretty traditional printing technique and mixed with more quirky/ modern imagery. With one family from England and the other from Germany I used imagery specific to them. The Berlin bear and a unicorn for England… yes it is a photograph of a real live unicorn..

A wedding isn’t a wedding these days without a website. Jack Ashdown built the site for me in flash. Unfortunately the site is no longer online. Most of the information for the site was regarding the day, so I used a picture of the venue carved up with pop up bubbles as links. Need I say more? Oh yes, the wedding was equally as ‘good’..
